They also can’t use the same kinds and amounts of pesticides as conventional farming.
That means the final product will likely be lower in environmental toxins, may be higher in nutrients thanks to soil enrichment practices, and hasn’t been doused in sewage sludge, which is always a win in my books.

Each bar has 12 grams of protein and about 4 grams of fiber. They are higher on the carbohydrate end with about 25-30 grams depending on which bar you choose.
So if you’re looking for a lower-carb, higher protein they aren’t the best of the best.
However, most of those carbs come from whole foods sources, though there is some agave and brown rice syrup.
Each bar is individually packaged and even though they’re not organic, they are GMO project verified, which means they don’t have any genetically modified organisms.
2. ALOHA Organic Plant Based Protein Bars
This certified gluten-free protein bar from ALOHA is another brand made with plant-based proteins.
This time they come from peanuts, brown rice protein, pumpkin seeds, and pumpkin seed protein for a well-rounded blend.
Each bar has 14 grams of protein, which is a pretty good amount.
They have 24 grams of carbohydrates, but 10 of those are fiber, so the net carbs are 14, which makes it even with the amount of protein.
They also contain some healthy fats from plant sources making this bar a nice, well-rounded meal or snack replacement individually wrapped up for ease.
The ingredients are all organic, aside from sea salt, which I don’t think can be certified anyway, so it’s a good choice for folks who want to buy as much organic as possible.

They pack a mighty punch with 21 grams of protein per bar and only 4 grams of net carbohydrates, with about 15 grams of fiber.
They do sweeten their bars with sugar alcohols, which can cause digestive distress in some folks, so if you know that’s you, you’ll want to steer clear of this brand.
